How we got here
It started with a simple observation: sales and marketing teams were spending hours doing the same things – finding emails, verifying them, writing sequences, sending follow‑ups – over and over. Meanwhile, developers were building AI agents that could do all of that, but they were forced to use clunky APIs and disconnected tools.
We thought: why not build one platform that serves both?
So we did. We started AskOptimus with a small team of engineers and outbound practitioners. We built the data layer first – the same verification engine that powers our email finder, domain search, and Discover. Then we built the UI. Then we built the MCP server, the `skill.md`, and the API. Every layer had to be equally powerful.
Today, AskOptimus is used by thousands of teams and thousands of AI agents. We're still small, but we're growing fast – and we're committed to keeping the platform open, honest, and agent‑ready.
